     With more desirable specialties resulting from production process and technology development, modified starch is widely used in paper production by both domestic and foreign manufacturers. Correspondingly, General Starch Limited has offered a wide variety of products that can suit different paper production processes. In order to grow in line with the paper business, the Company has never refrained from continuous improvement.

     Variety of our products for paper industry can be classified into 2 main applications:-

1. Modified Starch for wet end application
    starch is used in wet end paper to increase strength and improve drainage and retention on the paper. There are two key categories of modified starch for wet end application:-

        1.1 Cationic Starch
        1.2 Amphoteric Starch

2. Modified Starch for surface sizing application
    starch is used in surface sizing of paper to increase surface strength as well as result in excellent paper surface for writing and printing. There are two key categories of modified starch for surface sizing application:-

       2.1 Oxidized Starch
       2.2 Cationic & Oxidized Starch
